There are several high profile fashion bloggers who write about everything from women's shoes and the latest hairstyle to how short this season's skirt has to be or the right length of heel for the summer.

It is amazing that some of these bloggers have become almost celebrities in their own right. Although many of them do already have jobs in the fashion industry and are very experienced in the advice that they give, others are almost complete novices, still in their teens, and yet they manage to grow their audience and become a pillar of advice for others.

Many of us find blogging very interesting and informative, partly as we love to belong to a group of people that we have a shared interest with. We identify with what is being written and the fact that the blogger might not be an industry expert can endear him or her to us even more.

Some fashion bloggers though concentrate less on fashion itself and more on criticism of what people such as celebrities are wearing. While this can be quite funny at times, it can also represent the darker side of blogging
